Faith and Me Ministry is an organization that believes in that which is right. We believe in what is right for our nation, we are American Christians.
America’s bridges and infrastructure has been falling apart for years and all these churches were not paying taxes to help keep America striving. We asked ourselves in this regard, what would Jesus say?
Well, the life and morals of Jesus of Nazareth guides us on this subject:
Then the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders looked for a way to arrest him because they knew he had spoken the parable against them. But they were afraid of the crowd; so they left him and went away.
Later they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to Jesus to catch him in his words. They came to him and said, “Teacher, we know that you are a man of integrity. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not? Should we pay or shouldn’t we?”
But Jesus knew their hypocrisy. “Why are you trying to trap me?” he asked. “Bring me a denarius and let me look at it.”They brought the coin, and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”
“Caesar’s,” they replied.
Then Jesus said to them, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.”
And they were amazed at him.
Jesus was very clear on the subject of taxes and tithing. Yet so many church and pastors have forgot this axiom. Faith and Me Ministry will never file for tax exempt status and stay in a for profit tax status, so we can do our part in funding our nation and the services it provides to the least among us. All of our tithing will go to help American Veterans and we will Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's for our nation’s well-being.
We built the Ministry’s website to be mobile compatible for smartphones and tablets. We noticed nobody was looking up towards a higher power or cause anymore, but rather looking down into their mobile devices into a world of self. We created a ministry that would reach right into people’s smartphones and connect them with the life and morals of Jesus of Nazareth . We provide Thomas Jefferson's Bibles to selected and requested individuals along with an invitation to our online ministries. We want to raise money for America's injured veterans. We are a 21st Century modern mobile ministry connecting the mobile generation to a higher conversation about religion and politics.
In January 2013, the American Humanist Association published an edition of the Jefferson Bible, distributing a free copy to every member of Congress and President Barack Obama. The Smithsonian published the first full-color facsimile of the Jefferson Bible on November 1, 2011. Released in tandem with a Jefferson Bible exhibit at the National Museum of American History, the reproduction features introductory essays by Smithsonian Political History curators Harry R. Rubenstein and Barbara Clark Smith, and Smithsonian Senior Paper Conservator Janice Stagnitto Ellis. The book's pages were digitized using a Hasselblad H4D50-50 megapixel DSLR camera and a Zeiss 120 macro lens, and were photographed by Smithsonian photographer, Hugh Talman according to Wikipedia.
